Considering my prior discussion about the Texas State Board of Education and TEKS standards revision process in “Texas: Butt of many jokes” and “Illusion of Inclusion”. Looking forward to seeing the The Revisionaries when it comes back to Austin in a few weeks. Note: Also see the NAACP’s request for a compliance review of Texas standards and educational policy issues here.

Texas Freedom Network is proud to announce the Austin premiere of “The Revisionaries” — a new, award-winning documentary about the Texas State Board of Education. This documentary — which features extensively the work of the Texas Freedom Network — is the first-ever film to spotlight the politics that surround Texas’ bruising textbook battles and take seriously their far-reaching impact on public education across the country.
TFN will host two shows at the Violet Crown Cinema on Oct. 26 . Each screening will include a Q & A session with director Scott Thurman and TFN President Kathy Miller, who plays a major role in the film.
Tickets available at http://tfn.org/revisionaries
