The California State University Sacramento Doctorate in Educational Leadership is proud to celebrate Malika Murray, a recently announced 2016 recipient of the CSU Trustees’ Award for Outstanding Achievement. (You can hire her in May of 2017) The awards are given each year to only one student from each CSU campus who “demonstrates superior academic performance, personal accomplishments, community service and financial need.”
Malika is a member of Cohort 8 in the Doctorate, and has been a teacher for more than 25 years. Listen to her story below, it’s inspirational! (You can hire her in May of 2017)
The CSU writes,
The winners of the CSU Trustee’s award are not unlike the thousands of students who look to the CSU each year for high-quality, accessible, affordable educational opportunities. Without the CSU and scholarship programs such as the CSU Trustees’ Award for Outstanding Achievement, many of these students would never have the chance to attend college and achieve their dreams.
The California State University Sacramento Doctorate in Educational Leadership congratulates Malika Murray! Her talent, determination and drive and commitment to underserved students will help build and sustain our nation’s future.
We are so proud of you Malika!
