Looking forward to World Congress in Thailand

Learned this week that I was selected as a delegate for the 2019 Education International 8th World Congress that will take place July 19-26, 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand. I will represent my scholarly research at forums, workgroups, and caucuses and focus on how educators “play a critical role in ensuring improvement in the status and image of the teaching profession.” I will also discuss my research on how community-based education reform situates teachers and communities at the “forefront of defending human rights, democratic values and critical thinking.” I will also discuss my research that focuses on education opportunity to learn finance standards in order to ensure all “education institutions have adequate resources to provide equitable, inclusive quality education in healthy, safe and secure environments.”

See you in Bangkok!?
